Client Overview

The Elm Tree Inn is a historic 17th century pub nestled in the coastal village of Langton Herring, frequented by smugglers, visited by Churchill, and at the centre of a Cold War spy scandal. Today it's a traditional English pub with a roaring log fire, a sun-soaked beer garden, and an emphasis on locally sourced Dorset food and drink, a short walk from Chesil Beach and the Jurassic Coast. The kind of place people drive miles out of their way to find. We just made sure they could.

The Challenge

The locals had their pub back after years of closure, and they loved it. But the Elm Tree's magic needed to reach further than the village. Sitting in the heart of one of Britain's most visited coastal destinations, surrounded by Jurassic Coast walkers, Weymouth tourists and Dorset day-trippers, the opportunity was enormous. The challenge was getting in front of those people before they walked past and into somewhere else.

The Strategy

The Elm Tree was already full of captivating stories. Centuries of history, crackling fires, local ales, hearty food and the kind of atmosphere that makes people want to stay for one more round. Our job was to bring that feeling to life on screen.

We built a video first content strategy rooted in immersive storytelling. The cosy corners, the food, the sunlit beer garden, the warmth of the place. Content designed to make someone sitting on their sofa think: we need to make the trip. Understanding exactly what British pub lovers fall for and delivering that feeling, scroll after scroll.

What the Client Said

"Lauren is amazing, full of ideas and has done wonders for our pages on Facebook and Instagram with many posts going viral and a growing number of followers."

The Takeaway

The Elm Tree didn't need a rebrand or a reinvention. It needed the world to see what it already was. A proper, characterful, unmissable British pub with centuries of stories to tell. Show people the fire, the food and the feeling, and they'll find their way to the bar. The best hospitality content doesn't sell a meal. It sells the moment around it.
